The Africa IPv6 Cybersecurity Task Force is a collaborative initiative formed to address the urgent need for secure, scalable internet infrastructure across the African continent. Bringing together experts in IPv6 and cybersecurity, our task force unites government bodies, research institutions, private sector partners, and technical professionals under a common mission:

To lead Africa's transition to IPv6 while fortifying cybersecurity practices that safeguard our digital landscape as a continent.

Founded by leaders in African digital innovation, our task force is committed to accelerating IPv6 adoption, raising cybersecurity awareness, and fostering resilience against emerging digital threats. By working together, we are setting a foundation for a more secure, inclusive, and future-ready internet ecosystem across Africa.

We champion the continent-wide adoption of IPv6, recognising that it is essential to Africa's long-term digital security and scalability. Through awareness campaigns and policy advocacy, we aim to make IPv6 the standard for all internet infrastructure in Africa.

Our task force provides essential resources to equip IT professionals, policymakers, and network operators with the skills to implement IPv6 securely. By developing these capabilities, we aim to build a skilled workforce ready to address Africa's cybersecurity needs.

Our Governance Structure

The Africa IPv6 Cybersecurity Task Force operates under a governance framework that supports transparency, accountability, and inclusivity.Our leadership structure includes an Executive Leadership Team, Advisory Committees, and Regional Coordinators, each which are very essential to advancing our mission across Africa.
